Job Title: Senior Developer

The North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join its dynamic and busy team. As a key member of the Informatics Department, you will be responsible for the specification capture, development, delivery, and maintenance of software to meet the needs of internal and external clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using languages such as JavaScript, C#, and frameworks like Angular and ASP.NET.
  • Maintain and administer the Trust's in-house software suite, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve software development-related issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the wider development team on Data Warehousing, PowerPlatform, and integration engine.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, ensuring the Trust's systems remain cutting-edge.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to degree level in Computer Science or a related field, or extensive experience in software development.
  • Proven expertise in software development, with a strong understanding of full-stack development, PowerPlatform, and Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with GIS software and database knowledge to support business planning, service redesign, and performance improvement.
  • Ability to interpret information, analyze, and present data effectively.
