Job Overview

GAP Lifting offers a unique opportunity for a skilled engineer to join our team as an Overhead Crane Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting overhead cranes, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.

You will work closely with the TIC team to coordinate inspections and tests, providing technical expertise and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

As an Overhead Crane Engineer, you will:

  • Maintain and inspect overhead cranes to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Coordinate with the TIC team to schedule and conduct inspections and tests.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve crane efficiency and reduce downtime.

What You Will Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of lifting equipment and overhead cranes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An estimated salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on location.
