1:1 SEN Learning Support Worker

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced SEN learning support worker to join our team in a mainstream primary school in Hackney, London. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to a student with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis, ensuring their progress and well-being.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or speech and language difficulties, and have previous experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a 1:1 setting. Knowledge of different strategies and interventions to support students with SEN is also essential.
This role requires the ability to collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students to participate fully and engage actively with lessons and activities. Competitive salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum.
