An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our Estates Maintenance Team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plumbing-related plant and equipment at our properties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and a proven track record of working on complex water and drainage systems. You will be required to demonstrate a high level of competence and expertise in your work, with a focus on delivering excellent results and ensuring the safety of our patients and staff.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to plumbing-related plant and equipment
- Work on complex water and drainage systems, including hot and cold water distribution, sanitary fittings, and drainage systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the control of legionella in water systems
- Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency calls as required
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Estates Maintenance Team to achieve our goals and objectives
- City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Technical Craft Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Recognised Plumbing apprenticeship with a high level of competence and experience
- Strong background in plumbing and a proven track record of working on complex water and drainage systems
- Health & Safety qualification and Manual Handling training
- Gas certificate for commercial and domestic use (Gas Safe registration)
