Financial Reporting Role

This is a key position within Ardonagh Advisory, responsible for delivering high-quality financial statements and regulatory reports. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with experience in preparing financial statements under FRS 101.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the year-end process for the annual financial statements of the Advisory Platform
  • Review annual financial statements to ensure compliance with FRS 101 and legal requirements
  • Provide information to external auditors in a timely manner to meet year-end deadlines
  • Collaborate with other Finance Teams to ensure auditor requests are met efficiently
  • Prepare regulatory, tax, and other external reports and supporting documentation
  • Prepare tax packs to assist the internal tax team with CT computations and notes to the financial statements
  • Prepare accounting entries for legal entity acquisitions using legal agreements
  • Oversee legal entity life cycle activities during corporate expansion plans
  • Provide technical accounting, regulatory reporting, and tax insight

Requirements

  • Degree in a business or accountancy-related discipline
  • FRS 101 and IFRS knowledge
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • ACA/ACCA qualification
  • Experience in external reporting and regulatory reporting for insurance intermediaries
