Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Solicitor to join our team at our Seaford office. The successful candidate will have a mixed litigation caseload, including personal and business disputes.

About the Role

The role involves managing client work allocated by the Head of Department or other Partners, providing high-standard client care to existing clients, and working with Directors and other Litigation Practitioners to develop new business.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage client work, provide exceptional client care, and contribute to new business development.
  2. Deliver fee income and meet targeted objectives through effective time recording.
  3. Maintain accurate credit control on own matters in close liaison with Accounts.
  4. Stay informed of legal changes and maintain relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  5. Supervise, support, and develop immediate support staff.
  6. Adhere to firm risk procedures, comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules, and uphold the Rules on Professional Conduct.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation, preferably including property litigation.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proactive, forward-thinking, and able to cope well under pressure.
  • Good computer literacy and knowledge of case management systems.

Salary

The salary for this role is £50,000-£70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation for qualified professionals.
