A skilled Capstan Setter is required to join our team at ASC Connections Ltd, a leading engineering firm based in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art Ward 2DB & 3DB lathes, producing high-quality bolts and fasteners for clients in the MOD and Oil & Gas industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain 2DB & 3DB Capstan lathes to produce high-quality components
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production
- Load and unload machines, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal downtime
- Produce one-off and small batch work, meeting client requirements and deadlines
- Perform other duties as required to support the manufacturing team
This permanent role offers a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience, in the region of £11.50 - £13.50 per hour. You will work standard Monday to Friday hours, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
