About the Role:

  • As a Commissioning Engineer at Rock Compliance Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' facilities by conducting thorough site risk assessments and implementing effective commissioning techniques.
  • You will work closely with our site managers to coordinate work and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for controlling work on site, including site safety risk assessments, and taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend customer pre-start site inductions to receive information on scope of works, site rules, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-start site risk assessments and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate work with site managers to ensure efficient and safe execution of tasks.
  • Control work on site, including site safety risk assessments, and take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
  • Implement commissioning techniques to BSRIA and CIBSE commissioning codes and standards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to travel, with occasional overnight stays, and possess a full clean driving license.
  • DBS check will be conducted on all new starters.
