Job Overview

The Medical Equipment Technician will provide engineering support to ensure the delivery of high-quality equipment management within the trust. This role requires a commitment to providing best practice solutions to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and equipment asset management.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Medical Equipment Department in maintaining complex equipment associated with a hospital trust, including monitoring, diagnostic, and surgical systems. Additional training will be provided to enable the candidate to fully meet the person specification.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Electronic engineering NVQ 4 minimum
  • Good awareness of health & safety legislation relating to electronic equipment testing
  • Ability to self-manage and work without supervision
  • Microsoft Excel and Word skills
