**Job Title:** Exhibition Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Exhibition Insights Specialist. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for evaluation and research, who values the opinion of visitors.

As an Exhibition Insights Specialist, you will contribute to our Audience Strategy by collecting evaluation and research data across various exhibitions, events, and products. You will have experience talking to members of the public, with excellent verbal communication skills. While guidance will be provided on evaluation methods before each task, you will ideally have some experience conducting quantitative or qualitative research.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of evaluation principles and methods, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

The National Gallery offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities, a generous holiday allowance, and a pension scheme.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including visitor surveys, focus groups, and online feedback

  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform future programming and decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluation activities and outcomes

**Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, sociology, or marketing
  • Experience in evaluation and research, preferably in a cultural or educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
