We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of cutting-edge products and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop core engine components, including major castings and systems related to breather, cooling, and lubrication.
- Collaborate with suppliers to align design solutions with quality and cost expectations.
- Support Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on components and systems to address design risks and validation needs.
- Generate reports to support component and system design reviews and maintain communication with stakeholders.
- Address field and production issues, developing containment actions and corrective measures.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background, preferably with an HNC or degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
- Experience with modeling and detailing in CREO4 and familiarity with Team Centre - data management software.
