About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Tender Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent, working on a hybrid basis for an initial 18-month contract role. This exciting opportunity involves facilitating the production of Tender Documentation, including Bills of Quantities and Pricing Schedules, required to deliver major electrical transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with design, engineering, and programme teams to ensure quality, consistency, and lessons learned with Invitations to Tender Packs.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities/Pricing Schedules and Preambles/Definition of Prices, taking into account technical specifications, scope of work documentation, design drawings, site information, and programmes.
  • Provide technical support and advice to Project and Site management teams.
  • Maintain a database of Tender Documentation using BOQ Software tool for trend and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with SPEN Integrated Management System, required for professional and efficient delivery of the investment programme.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent.
  • Experience in electrical tendering.
  • Understanding of CESMM3/4, Electrical Method of Measurement.
  • Working knowledge of FIDIC, NEC3/4 & Design + Construct Conditions of Contract.
  • Good Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation related to construction projects.
  • PC knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Awareness of CDM Regulations with a good understanding of the Principal Contractor role.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
