Accountant Assistant

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the accounting practice, you will be responsible for assisting a Senior Accountant and other colleagues with a busy workload.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare end-to-end accounting tasks for a range of clients, including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
- Assist in the preparation of accounts, tax computations, and other financial documents.
- Undertake ad hoc work as requested by management and get involved with audit work where necessary.
- Liaise with clients as required and work closely with the Founding Partner and Senior Accountant.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preparing accounts, tax, and other financial responsibilities for a mixed client base.
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications, such as AAT or ACCA/ACA, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Competitive salary of £32,000-£37,000, dependent on experience and background.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with opportunities for career progression and development.
