A Crane Supervisor is required to oversee lifting operations at our Immingham depot. The successful candidate will have a valid A62 CPCS Crane Supervisor Licence and experience in crane supervision and appointed person roles.
About the Role
This role involves directing and supervising lifting operations, interpreting risk assessments, providing clear instructions to the lift team, assessing and halting operations if necessary, and adhering to BS7121 standards. We are seeking a strong communicator with the ability to produce high-quality risk assessments and method statements.
Responsibilities
* Directs and supervises lifting operations in accordance with Method Statements
* Interprets Risk Assessments and associated drawings
* Provides clear instructions to the lift team
* Assesses and halts operations if necessary, referring to the Appointed Person
* Adheres to BS7121 parts 1 and 3 standards
Requirements
* Valid CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
* Previous experience in Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person roles
* Ability to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements
* Strong knowledge of BS7121 parts 1 & 3
* Excellent verbal communication skills
