Electrical Designers and Engineers Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designers and Engineers to join our team at Trostre works, a leading supplier of high-quality packaging solutions. As an Electrical Designers and Engineers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Underpin manufacturing performance by providing expert electrical engineering support and advice.
  2. Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to implement changes.
  3. Ensure that electrical maintenance work is completed to time and to appropriate safety and engineering standards.
  4. Develop expertise in maintenance techniques and equipment development applicable to a heavy manufacturing environment.
  5. Provide comprehensive reports on breakdowns, repairs, and related engineering activities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum HNC level in electrical engineering or a related field. You should have relevant plant experience in electrical systems and be capable of supervising personnel in the safe execution of engineering repair work.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  1. Good understanding of electrical safety.
  2. Experience of working with industrial/domestic wiring.
  3. Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
  4. Expertise with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems of various configurations.
  5. Experience of digital drives and PLCs.
  6. A systematic problem-solving approach.
  7. SAP knowledge & basic Microsoft IT skills.
