We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Redbridge. This full-time role involves working one-to-one with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and requires an ASAP start.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and assessing English and/or Maths and/or Science in primary and/or secondary schools, as well as significant experience working with SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other additional needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to students, developing and implementing individualized learning plans, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to students with SEN
  • Assisting students in achieving their academic and personal goals
  • Communicating effectively with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and development

Requirements:

  • QTS or at least 1 year's experience teaching and assessing English and/or Maths and/or Science in primary and/or secondary schools
  • At least 2 years' experience working with SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA, dysgraphia, and global developmental delay
  • A proven record of being able to heighten pupil's confidence, self-esteem, and love of learning
  • 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability, and honesty
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Registration to work as self-employed

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
