Job Overview
Transport UK London Bus is seeking an innovative and self-starting individual to join our Engineering team as an Advanced PSV Technician. Based at Southall Depot, this role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining buses while investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is £52,000, with the opportunity to earn extra income through voluntary overtime. As a Transport UK London Bus employee, you will receive free travel on all TfL routes for you and a friend or family member after three months of service, as well as a contributory pension scheme, life insurance, and employee benefits from various retailers.

Key Responsibilities
Inspecting and maintaining buses to ensure they are in good working condition
Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults
Working 12-hour shifts with four days on and four days off

Requirements
NVQ level 3 qualification in maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or equivalent international qualification)
Current recognised qualifications in hybrid awareness and hybrid fault diagnostics
IRTEC certification in service maintenance technician, inspection technician, and advanced technician
Good standard of Maths and English
Able to read and understand instructions and service manuals
Familiarity with fleet management technical computer systems
Able to meet deadlines and work flexibly when needed
