Nurse Leadership Role in Blood Donation

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to take on a leadership role in our blood donation team. As Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of Healthcare Assistants and Donor Care Supervisors, providing high-quality care to our donors.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking clinical responsibility for ensuring the safe assessment and blood donation of our donors.
- Leading the team to deliver excellent donor experiences.
- Maintaining the competency and skills of your team members and yourself.
- Adapting communication styles for difficult conversations.
- Maintaining your professional development to contribute to improvements in our practice.
Working Arrangements
The normal hours for this role are rostered between 5 days per week / 10 days per fortnight. Early shifts start at 07:45 and finish at 17:00, while late shifts start at 10:30 and finish at 21:00. This role is mainly based on late shifts, with working days Monday to Friday and weekends off (excluding Bank Holidays). Weekend and bank holiday working may be required.

What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £42,000 - £64,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Your Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration as Registered Nurse Adult.
- Hold a full and valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
