We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at East Parade Surgery. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the clinical team in the safe and effective delivery of care to our patients.
- Undertake tasks and duties delegated by the clinical team, including health promotion programs, baseline observations, and wound care.
- Support the practice nurse with the management of chronic disease clinics and provide administrative support as needed.
- Carry out ECGs, venepuncture, and other clinical tasks as required.
- Ensure all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session, and maintain accurate records of patient information.
- Participate in practice audit and contribute to shared learning within the practice.
We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual with a strong commitment to patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
- A healthcare qualification (level 3 or 4) or working towards gaining qualification.
- Experience of working in a primary care environment, preferably with the public.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work outside of core office hours as needed.
