About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our team in Devonport. As a Nuclear Safety Engineer, you will be aiding in the delivery of major defence-related programmes across UK clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting clients with the management of nuclear safety
  • Production of safety assurance deliverables
  • Experience with design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear sites
  • Ensuring compliance with Site Licence Conditions

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or Equivalent qualification
  • Chartered status or working towards this
  • Experienced in one or more areas of safety case development, such as:
    • Safety Case Production
    • Modification/Design Change Submissions
    • Functional Safety Assessment
    • Regulatory Interface/Generic Design Assessment
    • ALARP Assessment
    • HAZOP and other identification studies
    • HAZAN
    • System Safety
  • SC clearance
