About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team at Julia's House, a leading children's hospice organization. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical nursing care to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of clinical nursing care to meet the diverse individual needs of children and young people.
  • Conduct nursing assessments, develop care plans, and deliver evidence-based care in conjunction with Julia's House policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Carers, Nurses, Team Nurses, Senior Team Nurses, and Lead Nurses, to provide holistic family-centered care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to broaden your skills and knowledge in pediatric nursing.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nursing Associate qualification and experience of working with sick children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using your own initiative and contributing to the skill base of the wider team.
  • Flexibility to cover days, evenings, weekends, school holidays, and occasional overnights, with variable rotas prepared 6 weeks in advance.
  • Full driving license and use of a car for business purposes.
  • Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
