Counsellor Position

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative qualified Counsellor to join our School Based Counselling Service team. The successful candidate will work with children and young people up to the age of 25 who may be at risk of disengaging from education, work, or training.

• Provide direct counselling to children and young people
• Deliver group work and workshops as needed
• Develop and deliver training for school staff
• Collaborate with other staff within the Inclusion Service
• Participate in multi-disciplinary consultations with schools

• Professional Diploma in Counselling
• Accreditation/registration with the BACP or UKCP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for inclusive education and supporting children and young people
