Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Paraplanner to join our team at Seven Investment Management LLP. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work closely with our financial planners, supporting them in delivering high-quality advice to clients.

About the Role

  • This role involves working with complex advice cases, preparing and writing advice reports of the highest quality on a range of financial planning topics, including pensions, offshore bonds, and specialist tax-efficient investments.
  • You will be responsible for undertaking technical research and analysis of clients' existing products and investments, presenting findings in detailed advice reports.
  • As part of the team, you will work collaboratively with financial planners to create bespoke planning solutions for new and existing clients, challenging when required to deliver the best outcomes.
  • You will discuss client objectives with financial planners, identifying where further necessary client information is required to prepare robust advice reports.
  • In addition, you will assist in compiling financial planning and investment proposals, taking responsibility for any additional bespoke work proposed, such as cash-flow modelling.
  • As a key member of the team, you will also contribute to training and mentoring paraplanners and graduates, sharing your knowledge and expertise within the team.

Requirements

  • A minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) with a desire to achieve Level 6 and Chartered status.
  • Experience of Defined Benefit Pension advice is highly desirable.
  • You should have proficient MS Word/Excel skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy when writing reports.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, managing multiple and conflicting deadlines.
