Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer - System Design Authority

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer - System Design Authority to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our Surface Ships division, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the development and testing of cutting-edge maritime technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee development and testing of system engineering outputs, including assessing customer requirements, system specifications, system architecture definition, interface definition, test and acceptance strategy, and defining engineering work packages and sub-contractor specifications.
  • Support the Project/Bid Manager in identifying and managing technical risk.
  • Conduct Factory, Harbour, and Sea Acceptance Test activities to fulfill contract requirements.
  • Domain knowledge in areas such as Systems Engineering, Sonar and Underwater Acoustics, Maritime Security Systems, Marine technology, Minewarfare, Anti-submarine Warfare, Command and Control Systems (including network architectures and software).
