Job Title: Chemical Engineer Summer Intern

Are you a Chemical Engineering student looking for a challenging and rewarding internship experience? We have several opportunities available for summer internships at our Oil and Gas company.

Job Summary:

As a Chemical Engineer Summer Intern, you will be responsible for using chemical engineering principles to design and optimize processes and unit operations for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. You will work on one or more aspects of technology development and transfer, with meaningful projects and assignments supported by our technical experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on one or more aspects of technology development and transfer, with meaningful projects and assignments supported by UOP technical experts.
  • Participate in office-based teams using chemical engineering principles for the design and optimization of processes and unit operations for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.
  • Gain experience in one or more of UOP's key refining and petrochemical technologies, including operating pilot plants, designing, troubleshooting, and servicing UOP process units.
  • Develop broad technical knowledge in general Chemical Engineering principles and gain proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements:
  • Currently studying a degree in Chemical Engineering at an accredited university or college, with one year left to complete after summer 2025.
  • Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Broad technical knowledge in general Chemical Engineering principles.
  • Ability to climb ladders in a place of work.
