About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10 team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and optimizing operations to ensure seamless delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Audit processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address gaps.
  • Analyze data to inform process improvements and implement changes to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve process-related issues.
About the Team

Our Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a critical role in our success, using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology. We capture data to drive decisions and make Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain, transportation, or economics.
  • Relevant experience working in a supply chain, transportation, or project management role.
  • Experience with project management, including handling multiple ongoing projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA from an accredited university.
  • Management experience in operations within the logistics, distribution, or transportation industry.
  • Experience in developing and/or implementing automation and material handling solutions.
  • Exposure to optimization solvers/tools and advanced simulation modeling tools.
