About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to older adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions for older adults with mental health problems, using evidence-based, client-centered principles.
  • Provide support and advice to carers, respecting individuality, values, culture, and religious diversity.
  • Participate in the duty rota and contribute to the development of nursing practice in the team.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop clear care pathways for older adults with mental health problems.
  • Support student placements and contribute to the development of nursing practice in the team.

Requirements
  • NMC registration.
  • Experience in care coordination and community mental health.
