Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Hawke's Bay Hospital. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients and contributing to the development of our emergency medicine services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency medical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Contribute to the development of our emergency medicine services, including education and training

Requirements:

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council as an Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
