About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Cityscape Recruitment. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing projects with values ranging up to £5 million in the London area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
  • Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Performing risk and value management and cost control
  • Advising on procurement strategy
  • Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
  • Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
  • Allocating work to subcontractors
  • Pricing variations
  • Submitting Valuations
  • Final Accounts
About the Employer

Our client is a well-respected specialist sub-contractor with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. They have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction packages in the residential sector.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience with a reputable dry lining contractor
  • Degree qualified preferred
  • Trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further
  • Highly motivated individual and a strong team player
  • Consistent employment record with at least two years at each employer
