£70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus and Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified chartered finance professional to join a private equity backed, consumer goods business that is a market leader in what they do. They have a good growth plan and you will play a pivotal role in the commercial finance team with a focus on ensuring accurate month-end close, presenting P&L reports, driving strategic decisions, managing budgets, developing KPI dashboards, and supporting process improvements and automations as well as partnering with the Executive team.
To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Experience with PowerBI would be desirable but not essential
- Brilliant interpersonal skills
- Hands on approach
- Strong excel and systems skills
A little more information about the role:
- To be responsible for the FP&A function within the organisation
- Ownership of the forecasting and budgeting process for the business
- Providing the business with analysis and guidance and support that will aid strategic decision making
- To own the cost base for the organisation, and partnering with the cost centre owners, challenging them where necessary
- Making sure that the month end process is as accurate and efficient as possible
- Supporting with continuous improvements across the finance team and wider business as well as being involved with system implementations
As a key member of the Stanton House finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to support the company's growth and success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making
- Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Managing and maintaining financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborating with the Executive team to develop and implement financial strategies and plans
- Providing financial guidance and support to the business to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
