Restaurant Shift Manager Job Summary

The Restaurant Shift Manager is a key role within our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during their working day. Reporting to the Venue Manager, this individual will be the main point of contact for the team, ensuring that daily operational plans are fulfilled and that the team is in the right place at the right time to meet fluctuating guest demands.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support and coach the team to deliver a great guest experience
  • Drive guest satisfaction by improving Guest NPS and addressing feedback
  • Optimise retail spend to ensure financial efficiency while maintaining profitability
  • Manage the team during shifts, ensuring key tasks and objectives are met
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost employee engagement and foster a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar environment
  • Strong guest-facing skills, including handling queries and resolving complaints
  • Demonstrable experience in leading teams to success, including managing performance, coaching, and setting standards
