Job Summary:

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a store delivery position based in the UK. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various stores across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to stores in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed to a high standard and in accordance with customer requirements
  • Participate in regular vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license held for at least 1 year
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network and ability to navigate using a satnav
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
