About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at BJSS. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our employees, ensuring that they have access to reliable and efficient IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Install, configure, and deploy PCs and Apple Macs
  • Update internal IT systems, including helpdesk tickets, asset records, and technical documentation
  • Resolve first-line IT support requests
  • Raise orders for new hardware and software as needed
  • Perform IT operations activities, including proactive checking and monitoring of internal IT systems

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a service desk or technical support environment
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, wired and wireless networking technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows and Apple Mac laptops
  • Administration of Office 365
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
