Job Title: Employment and Training Development Manager

We are a team of 1,400+ people who share a common passion for delivering great care. Our goal is to make people's lives happier and fulfilled.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Training & Development Manager to support our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing training programs for all Eleanor Healthcare staff, including residential care homes, nursing care homes, supported living, and homecare.

The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills, a commitment to the organization, and experience in training delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking regular organization-wide training and development needs analysis for our staff
  • Designing, planning, and reviewing high-quality staff inductions and core training
  • Working with employees, operational managers, and SMT to ensure the achievement of training objectives
  • Managing employee enrolment for training, scheduling training sessions, and organizing resources to facilitate training programs
  • Creating training materials and programs to address specific business objectives
  • Keeping up-to-date on the latest training trends, developments, and best practices
  • Identifying and implementing a wide range of training techniques to improve efficiency and engagement
  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programs and reporting back to SMT

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Health & Social Care Act, CQC regulations, and standards for care homes and homecare. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of various training methods, including coaching, workshops, classroom training, mentoring, and e-learning programs.

We are looking for a highly organized, planning, and time management skilled individual who can track the performance of training programs, write reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.
