About the Role

We are seeking a skilled District Retail Merchandiser to join our team in the Amesbury area. As a key member of our field-based retail merchandising team, you will work with high street retailers on behalf of leading household name brands.

Your primary responsibility will be to fill coverage gaps across a defined district, visiting multiple retail outlets to fulfill district and regional targets. You will ensure that fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Standards: You will adhere to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, and health and safety protocols.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You will arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You will set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You will build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for business use.
  • Experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative to find solutions.
  • Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits.
