At Engage Education Services, we are currently recruiting for a Science Technician to work on a full-time, temp-permanent basis in a secondary school. This role will provide technical support for teaching staff across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school environment as a Science Technician, a relevant undergraduate degree, and a passion for working in a school environment. Applications are welcome from recent Science graduates with school-based experience.
This is a full-time role, 5 days a week, with 8-4 working hours and 1 hour lunch break. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a valid enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
About the role:
- Providing technical support for teaching staff across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Preparing experiments and materials in advance of lessons
- Supporting fellow technicians within the department, especially new members of staff
- Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience working in a school environment as a Science Technician
- A relevant undergraduate degree
