We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our team as a Financial Controller. This is a part-time role that will play a crucial role in managing our business, working closely with the executive team to drive growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and forecasting process, ensuring financial plans align with strategic objectives
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the operations team to provide financial insights that support business decisions. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and overseeing the preparation of tax returns.

Requirements:
  • Five years plus demonstrable experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a finance department
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and accounting practices
  • Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex financial information clearly
  • Fully professionally qualified through CIMA or ACCA
