About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Secondary School Supply Teacher to provide flexible support across Oxfordshire. This role involves delivering high-quality lessons to secondary school students and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across various subjects to secondary school students, ensuring a engaging and effective learning experience.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students.
  • Build rapport with students, colleagues, and school leadership, adapting quickly to new environments and situations.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback to regular teachers or school leadership on the day's lessons and any challenges that arose.

Requirements

">
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Prior experience teaching in a secondary school setting is essential.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and subjects, as well as a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work at short notice.
