Job Title: Apprenticeship Tutor and Assessor

Community Matters Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprenticeship Tutor and Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our Apprenticeship Delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to apprentices across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive training programmes that meet the needs of apprentices and employers.
  • Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to learners, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Work closely with Apprenticeship Delivery Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of apprenticeship programmes.
  • Monitor and report on learner progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective management of apprenticeship programmes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in apprenticeship delivery and assessment.
Requirements:
  • Hold academic qualifications relevant to the apprenticeship being assessed.
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
  • Training, Assessment or Quality Assurance award (e.g. CAVA, ENB998, FEW, MIPP, PGCE, L4 Cert Education).
  • Project Management qualification/training or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Level 4 Award in Education and Training (previously PTLLS).
  • RQF Level 3 Award in Education and Training or other teaching qualifications.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience of delivering apprenticeships, including through online platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
