Job Title: Compliance Officer

Job Summary:

Marshall Motor Group is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team at our Mercedes Benz dealership in Blackburn. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract role to cover Maternity Leave, reporting to our Compliance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring business compliance with regulations.
  • Promote a positive compliance culture within the organization.
  • Provide compliance advice and recommendations to the business.
  • Organize and maintain compliance records, ensuring all logs are up to date.
  • Assist with the delivery of the Training & Competence Framework and Compliant Management Framework.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring activities in accordance with the annual plan.
  • Assist the business in maintaining compliance and adherence to policies and procedures, highlighting risks and areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Compliance Department.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements, particularly CONC, PRIN, COCON, SYSC, TC, and DISP, pertaining to the sale of consumer finance and/or general insurance.
  • Knowledge of the Consumer Duty is desirable.
  • A working understanding of the regulatory framework.
  • IT literacy with the ability to organize and analyze high volumes of data.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
