We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Wakefield Council. As a Cleaning Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic school environment that meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings, walls, partitions, and internal woodwork as required.
- Clean floors using both hoover and buffer, with training provided as needed.
- Clean toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas, and dispose of rubbish properly.
- Undertake specific cleaning programs during school closure or designated periods, in compliance with our premises specification.
- Comply with Child Protection and Health and Safety Policies at all times.
As a member of our team, you will have access to a comprehensive wellbeing support package, including in-house wellbeing experts, counsellors, nurses, and physiotherapists. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and all staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. A Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check will be required prior to appointment.
