Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Malmaison. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that it is presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that waste is minimized.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, working closely with the Head Chef and other members of the kitchen team.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
