We are seeking a skilled Commercial Motor Claims Handler to join our growing insurance team. As a Commercial Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling claims, managing new claims, and ensuring compliance with our standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dealing with phone calls and post advising of claims.
  • FNOL management – ensuring all new claims are monitored and handled.
  • Diary and report maintenance.
  • Matching of all post/diary entries.
  • Ensuring that the Claims Manager is fully aware of all issues or complaints.
  • Ensuring that full compliance of our standards is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Ensure all records and communications with clients are accurately recorded and filed in the correct manner.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance and the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years commercial motor claims experience.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Good negotiation and broking skills.
