Job Description

We are looking for an experienced teacher to fill the position of Secondary Science Teacher at Invergordon Academy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of curriculum requirements for Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.

Key Duties

  • To teach science subjects to students in years S1-S4
  • To prepare and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • To assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements and Benefits

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in secondary education
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Salary: £33,594 - £50,589 per annum
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Contract: Fixed-term until July 2025
