Financial Management & Reporting

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Your expertise will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial data and reports, supporting decision-making at all levels.

Budgeting & Forecasting

You will lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with departmental heads to align financial goals with strategic objectives. Your analytical skills will help monitor and analyse budget performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed. Oversee the company's treasury operations, including risk management, investments, and debt financing. Collaborate with banks and other financial institutions to manage relationships and optimize financing arrangements.

Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation. Coordinate external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Lead internal audits and implement measures to mitigate risk and enhance financial integrity.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team of 2, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and team capabilities. Provide training and development opportunities to support team members' career progression.

Strategic Support

Collaborate with the executive team to provide financial insights and strategies that support business growth. Analyse potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions, preparing reports to aid in decision-making. Lead or contribute to key projects related to finance and business transformation.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Experience in financial management or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing a finance team.
