About the Opportunity

We are pleased to present a rare and exciting opportunity to join a leading Top 100 UK law firm specializing in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims. Due to the development and continued growth of the firm's Clinical Negligence department, it is now seeking to appoint a Trainee Solicitor to work alongside its successful team of Solicitors/fee earners.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to play an important role within the firm by working on cases both individually and to support the team in ensuring cases are handled in a proactive, client-focused, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working on cases individually and supporting the team to ensure cases are handled efficiently
  • Managing a caseload of Clinical Negligence claims
  • Providing support to Solicitors with their caseload
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Clinical Negligence Disputes
  • Working well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

  • Previous Clinical Negligence experience
  • Good understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Clinical Negligence Disputes
  • Completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC)
  • Sound knowledge of managing your own caseload or assisting senior fee earners
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize, and manage a varied caseload
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
