We are seeking a highly skilled Static Equipment Engineer to join our team at Kintec Global Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of turn-key projects, engineering specifications, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development, review, and delivery of engineering specifications and deliverables.
- Contribute to the specification, evaluation, and selection of vendor packages and plant equipment.
- Design and develop mechanical works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain the required technical quality of work, adhering to company standards and best practices.
- Support existing operations and commissioning teams, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Participate in factory, site, and performance acceptance testing, ensuring that all equipment meets required standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent qualification.
- Membership with a professional engineering institution (desirable).
- Experience in specifying pipework, pressure vessels, mechanical items, valves, plant equipment, and materials of construction.
- Strong understanding of process requirements and ability to interpret P&IDs.
- Working knowledge of ASME, ASTM, ISO, MSS, and EU standards relating to process pipework.
- Experience using AutoCAD 2D or equivalent.
