About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Solicitor with expertise in contentious construction law to join our team at Law Staff Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling a caseload of contentious construction matters, including advising on construction contracts and drafting submissions for adjudication and arbitration proceedings.
  • Liaising with clients and other professionals to ensure excellent client care and business development.
  • Preparing seminars and contributing to publications on construction law topics.
  • Assisting registered providers, building contractors, and construction professionals with their construction law needs.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' PQE in construction matters, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about business development, with a strong academic background and excellent communication skills.
  • Familiar with Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, the Scheme for Construction Contracts (England and Wales) Regulations 1998, and the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • IT proficient and commercially aware.
