Our Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Team Leader to join our team based at our Hatfield Depot. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Greencore delivery network using both HGVs and Vans.
Key Responsibilities
- Admin work and data input
- Interacting with drivers and customer service teams
- Liaising with third parties over email and phone
- Overseeing van routes to ensure smooth delivery
- Managing the workload of drivers, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Controlling and managing KPI requirements
- Leading by example in safe Health and Safety practices
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of HGVs and Vans routes
- Reporting into Transport Management
What We're Looking For
- Experience working within the transport industry is desirable
- Good attention to detail and self-discipline
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Computer literacy, including Excel spreadsheets
