About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dental Department Coordinator. This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Primary Care Dental Service of University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing effective and efficient clinic coordination support for the department, ensuring a professional and positive working environment for patients attending our dental community departments across the Bristol, Bath, and Weston area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage waiting lists and organize clinics and patient appointments
  • To maintain accurate records and update systems as required
  • To communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • To work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient care

Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above in English Language and Maths
  • Business and Admin level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience
  • Extensive clerical/reception experience in a healthcare/public setting
  • Experience of handling cash and banking
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult situations/conversations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)
